Although there are a few hotels and guesthouses on Funafuti, good accommodation is not very easy to find. Camping is not permitted and most of the options lead to houses of the inhabitants. Rooms range from 15 to 30 A$, and if you rent a breakfast-included one, you won't be capable of finishing off all the amount of food that they offer. It's best to call the island council or the Ministry of Rural Development(20 177).
